There are many supplements herbal products that have proven safe and effective for preventing, treating or reducing migraine pain. The most common herbs for migraines are mint feverfew, passion flower, gingko, cayenne and the hat. As with prescription drugs, consult your doctor whether it is safe to use any of these supplements during pregnancy. As an herb does not automatically guarantee that it is safe to take during pregnancy. Many of these herbs have strong medicinal properties and need to be cleared before taking during pregnancy.
