When I get a headache or migraine, the veins in my temples were swollen. It causes terrible migraines?
I've been in the emergency room for extreme migraine pain and nobody can provide any answers. I have tried Imitrex, Treximet, Maxalt, Darvocet and Vicodin and nothing takes away the pain and inflammation support to the vein. The only thing that worked was the last time going to the emergency room, being on an IV with morphine, compazine and liquids, and only sleeping there. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
I've been taking all my life. I do not want a headache to anyone. It is the most painful thing I have experienced and I have two children and at least seven major surgeries and chronic kidney stones. Watch what you eat and sleep patterns. I can not eat hot dogs, bologna, lunch meat, red wine, etc. The next time you get a headache trying some baking soda and water. If it relieves the headache, then your headache was caused by an allergy to food. You can also test your regular analgesic. 2D
