What is the difference between a migraine headache?

And I have a very bad headache and I'm not sure if it's a migraine. idk what feels like a migraine.

Well a migraine is a severe pain usually on one side of the head. Sesitivity may be accompanied with light and noise. Nausea or vomiting may also occur. When I get I have to put an ice bag on his head and placed in a dark quiet room. If that does not get rid of them then usually have to get a prescription for Migrin to help ease the pain for me to rest. Migraine Excedrin works so well and does not require a trip to the doctors.
