When the pain become too much?

I have been suffering from headaches for more than three and half years. i make them 7-10 times a day are very bad I went to a headache clinic and my doctor told me I could be admitted to the hospital if the pain was too much. but I do not know what to do. I am a freshman in high school and I lost a lot of school. I am also needle phobic and I would have to have an iv. I do not know what to do Sometimes the pain is so bad i cannot handle it, but I have fear of going to hospital. any advice?

In general when the pain is unbearable is the point at which all reasons for not receiving treatment pale in comparison to the pain we are feeling. It's a feeling almost out of control. You have a bit to look like a set of scales. On the one hand you have these headaches and pain associated with them and on the opposite side of the scale is admitted to the hospital, things that are missing from school and needles which are associated in his mind with fear. You are in constant balance between these scales and apparently so far the fear is winning. So when the pain becomes greater than fear, the scales have tipped the other direction and then receive treatment. Being afraid of needles, missing things in school and be afraid go to the hospital are all problems of control. So all this makes you feel out of control. In essence what we are actually here is the balance vs. your physical status mental. Only you can tip the balance in any direction.
