Has anyone been successfully treated for cervicogenic headaches?
I was recently diagnosed with cervicogenic headaches – that are chronic (at least in my case) the headaches that result from a neck injury or neck strain. I went to a neurologist who did not think was a very good doctor, so I'm not inclined to follow their instructions … and my other doctors seem to disagree with them anyway. Does anyone else has had this type of headache and obtained relief from a certain method / what was it? I see (look at yahoo) that this is not very common headache … Also, I have 20 years of age and I'm in a music school who plays a string instrument (viola) … which probably contributed to the problems of neck or could be the source of them.
Over 13 years ago I had a compression fracture in the neck by a car accident. And I have some bad headaches.I cried and got sick. I went to Palmer chiropractor. He aligned and I felt a little better after awhile. Also, put ice packs on his neck and that helps too. I take my pain medication but I hate it. The alignment hurts for a couple of days at first, then you feel like "hey I feel fine."
